I started to imagine the Cube ring when I was given a cubic shaped antique piece that was interesting on all sides. I therefore sought to reveal all the faces of a Cube worn on a finger. From this constraint, the first version was born.
Then I looked for a material that would look interesting in this form. This is where the choice of Rutile Needle Rock Crystal came to me.
I had in my possession a very beautiful rough from Brazil that I had cut into cubes especially for this ring.
The Cube symbolises strength, the ring in tension, the spirit. A triumph of spirit over force and matter, the ring thus captures the all powerful volume. These multiple rutile inclusions, depending on the angle, give life and soul to the stone. The way the ring is placed on the finger and set transforms the impression given by this powerful volume.
